Workshop Description:
In this workshop we will focus on strengthening the parent-child bond, without relying on fear and control. Through emotional attunement, effective communication and meaningful interactions you will understand the importance of practicing empathy, active listening, validation and how connection promotes trust and open communication. Through instruction you will gain a clear picture of how your ability to manage your own feelings nurtures your child’s emotional development and security, allowing them to feel supported and understood, laying the foundation to build resilience.
Reducing behavioral challenges is just one of goals of being an effective parent and by learning the benefits of a connected relationship you will promote trust and create the groundwork for a lifelong bond. We will review guiding discipline that helps establish healthy boundaries, consistency and promotes problem solving.
